“the Confession of Faith affirms the sufficiency of scripture for teaching what is necessary for salvation. It is referred to as “the Word of God in so far as it is necessary for our salvation, and, when received through the Holy Spirit, “the true rule and guide for faith and practice.” Again, there is no statement of infallibility, but anything that is not taught in scripture cannot be held as essential for salvation.”
